Infrastructure and Facilities for Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM)

Purpose of the Course:

To prepare participants with the knowledge, skills and attitude required to create and maintain infrastructure and facilities at an airport to enable passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) to pass through airport in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the rights of persons with disabilities act 2016, Government of India and DGCA India CAR Section 3- Air Transport series-M, part-1, issue-3.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify the special needs of PRMs travelling through an airport
2. Establish infrastructure and facilities at appropriate locations as per standard
3. Maintain infrastructure and facilities
4. Manage PRMs service alignment programme 

Target Population:

- Airport Engineers who are responsible for creating and maintaining requisite infrastructure and facilities for PRMs.

- Facilitation Managers who are responsible for ensuring smooth transit of PRMs through an airport
